This 2h fast track foil class is the perfect starting point to get you and your friends into the exciting sport of Hydrofoling.

Our licensed instructors will teach you the principals about hydrofoiling, what it takes to take off, balance the foil and to start flying above the water. After an introduction about the basics of hydrofoiling and a few functional warm up exercises you will be towed behind a boat at the protected Rose Bay with beautiful Harbour Bridge backdrops. Students need to have a minimum age of 9 to join this class. Our school is using the latest and most advanced foiling technology by North, Armstrong, Fone and Lift

Foiling Q&A

  • Do I need to know how to surf or wakeboard?

    You need to be able to swim but do not need to know how to surf or wakeboard. Hydrofoiling is a completely new sport. Any background & skills in surfing, wakeboarding, kitesurfing, snowboarding or skateboarding will potentially speed up your progression. 

  • Is all equipment provided?

    Yes of course. We are using the latest and most advanced foiling technology by North, Armstrong, Fone and Lift. 

  • Do I need a wetsuit?

    During autumn (Apr-May) and winter (June to Oct) we recommend to use a wetsuit. Please bring your wetsuit if you've got one; If you haven't got a wetsuit, no problem we got you covered with the latest Mystic wetsuit range. A small rental fee of $10 applies. 

  • What's the min & max group size?

    The minimum group size is 2 students. The maximum group size is 4 students per boat and licensed instructor. For larger groups, we can run several boats parallel. 

  • What's risk of injury?

    The risk of injury is very very little. Apart from a handful of customer with small bruises we have a clean NO INJURY record. For additional safety all students will be fitted with helmets and impact vests. We are also using the latest BBtalking devices to enable communication between the student and the instructor while foiling behind the boat. 

  • I have had foiling lessons before, can I join?

    Absolutely YES ! We are super happy for you to join the class. You will get a lot of progression in your allocated time slots. Our instructors will help you to progress in your foiling journey according to your skill level. 

  • I'd like to book a specific date & time for my group

  • What happens if the weather is bad?

    Lessons can always be moved to a different date. Your instructor will be in touch 24h prior to the lesson in case we have a bad weather forecast. Torrential rain and thunderstorms are considered as bad weather.  

  • Can I move the date & time of my lesson?

    Yes of course. But please give us at least 24h notice.

PRO Surf-& Wake Foil Class

Surf Sydney's Biggest Endless Wake to Skyrock Your Foil Progression ! You'll be riding the highest & smoothest wave powered by MasterCraft in a perfectly controlled training environment. 

This is a dedicated Foil Progression Class for intermediate & expert foilers who would like to work on their prone-, surf-, wing surf and wake foil skills. Our two dedicated Pro Surf Foil instructors Andrii and Chris will guide you during the session to fine tune your pumping, wave connecting and turning techniques. We are running this group class exclusively in a very protected section of Middle Harbour on a MasterCraft NXT boat from the Roseville Bridge Marina. Minimum group size is 3, maximum is 4 students. Book 1, 2 or 3h sessions. Our school is using the latest and most advanced foiling technology by North, Armstrong, Fone and Lift.

PRO Surf- & Wake Foil Q&A

  • Do I book 1, 2 or 3 hours ?

    To get most out of the lesson we recommend to book 2x1h slots. But you are of course welcome to book a single hours session too.  

  • What's the required Level to join this lesson ?

    You should be able to comfortably get started on foil behind a boat. If you need to work on your wake- or sink start with your prone foil board. feel free to join our standard lesson in Rose Bay. 

  • Can I test the latest foil gear ?

    Yes of course. We are using the latest and most advanced foiling technology by North, Armstrong and Core.. 

  • Don't have my own gear; Can I hire gear for the lesson ?

    Yes of course. That's not a problem at all. You do not need to pay any extra if you require gear. Please let us know in advance in order to prepare the right gear for you. We are using the latest and most advanced foiling technology by North, Armstrong and Core..
